Influenced by the improvisational spirit of the Grateful Dead\, the poetic honesty of Townes Van Zandt\, and the lyrical depth of Bob Dylan\, Davis draws from a rich songwriting tradition while developing a voice of his own. Music has always been an important part of his life\, and songwriting gives Davis way to turn experiences\, emotions\, and observations into something lasting and meaningful.\nBett Padgett is an award-winning songwriter “edutainer” fusing history\, music\, and storytelling to address issues with wit\, heart\, and unapologetic honesty.
