These free outdoor concerts offer a diverse line-up of music from pop, oldies, rock, to contemporary music – there’s something for every musical taste! Each week, a classic car show is held in conjunction with each concert. The car show is hosted by Carolina Mountain Car Club. Concert organized by the Arts Council of Henderson County. This week, enjoy the music of The Johnnie Blackwell Band, who strives to get people dancing and singing along with selections from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s. This group of friends has played together regionally for more than 10 years. The band consists of Johnnie Blackwell on guitar, keyboard and vocals, Mark Crawford on Bass and vocals, John Luzzi on guitar and vocals, and Jeff Rudolph on drums and vocals.
