We will blend the 7 essential principles of mindfulness with intuitive art practices\, using drawing and watercolors as tools for relaxation. You’ll be guided through a series of creative mark-making exercises and grounding techniques\, culminating in an extended\, meditative painting session. \nDuring this workshop\, we will explore Neurographic Art—a powerful method rooted in Pavel Piskarev’s Neurographica® model. SUMMARY:A LOTTO Art - Every Ticket is a Winner
DESCRIPTION:The Art League’s A LOTTO Art makes collectors out of art enthusiasts. Every ticket holder will receive an original work of art during the live LOTTO drawing. You never know when your number will come up\, but you know it will. The artworks\, donated by Art League member artists and will include paintings\, drawings\, photography\, collage\, jewelry\, ceramic\, and sculpture. The minimum value of each work is $250\, but it may be more\, including some in the thousands. \nEach ticket is $100 and a limited number will be sold. Each ticket holder will take home a piece of artwork for their $100 ticket regardless of the retail value of the artwork. \nTicket holders will be able to preview the works of art at Art Place Gallery and online at: www.ArtLeagueHVL.org. The preview event begins Friday\, November 7\, 5-7pm and runs through November 29 during regular gallery hours. The live ticket drawing will be held at the Art Place Gallery at 730 Locust Street on November 29 at 5 pm. Please come early and look at the final selection!
