2024 Tourism Conference

Come Together

The annual Henderson County Tourism Conference is a day-long, free, educational conference that is open to anyone in Henderson County’s tourism industry. The 2024 conference took place in February at the Blue Ridge Community College Conference Hall and was a wonderful opportunity to network, develop skills, reflect on our past successes and look toward the future. Attendees included people from the tourism industry, local government and Welcome Center volunteers.

At the 2024 event, the HCTDA shared how it built upon its efforts to rebrand from the previous year, shared key destination data to assist tourism partners in their marketing efforts, showcased updated partner programs, offered breakout sessions in marketing, PR and online reputation management, offered many networking opportunities, and inspired conference participants to love our county and Our State with guest speaker, Elizabeth Hudson.

Congrats the recipient of the second annual Debi Smith “Heart for Hospitality” Award, Barbara Hughes of Narnia Studios and multiple special events, including Chalk It Up.
