DESCRIPTION:Join the Hendersonville Community Band on Sunday\, April 26 at 3pm at the Blue Ridge Conference Hall at the Blue Ridge Community College in Flat Rock as they present Showtime: Hollywood to Broadway. Our special guests\, the “Blue Ridge Bones” \, will join us for a lively visit to some of the favorite show tunes and movie music from the last six decades. One quick “spoiler alert”\, with the “Blue Ridge Bones” we will\, of course\, have to play “76 Trombones” from “The Music Man”! What else will you hear? Come to our final concert of the season to find out. \nTickets are $12 for adults and free for students and children. Tickets may be purchased at the Hendersonville Welcome Center (cash or check only)\, online at www.hcbmusic.com\, and at the door.

DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday\, April 11\, 2026\, at 3pm at the Blue Ridge Community College Conference Hall for the Hendersonville Symphony Orchestra’s performance of Rachmaninoff’s Third Concerto and Bizet’s Carmen Suites no. 1 and 2. \nOriginally slated for September 2024\, but canceled due to Hurricane Helene\, Dr. Brian Hsu returns to Hendersonville for Rachmaninoff’s most ambitious Piano Concerto\, the Third. After an intermission\, the orchestra will round out the season with two suites from Bizet’s most famous work\, Carmen. Spanish rhythms and elegant melodies will get us singing and dancing for the season finale. \nTickets are available online and at the door – $15 – $49.
