The Apple Valley Model Railroad Club will once again be open the Friday after Thanksgiving from 10am to 2pm for families and guests to see the HO Scale and G Scale trains. Admission is free, but donations are accepted. Since the railroad station is featured in an upcoming Hallmark movie, “A Biltmore Christmas” airing on Sunday November 26, there will be a special discussion on Saturday Nov 25th at 10 and 11 am of the filming done at the Depot. Also, the Club will host families and children for a special reading of the “Polar Express” on Dec 20 starting at 11am and then again at 12 and 1 pm. The HO Scale Polar Express train will be in operation so bring the kids and enjoy hearing the story of the Polar Express! The Apple Valley Model Railroad Club is located at 650 Maple Street Hendersonville NC. Normal hours of operation are Wednesdays 1pm – 3pm and Saturdays 10am to 2pm.
