Kanuga invites the community to celebrate spring on Sunday, March 31, with an Egg Hunt for ages 1-6 at 11 a.m. and Easter brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Guests are invited to enjoy the grounds and trails before or after the event. Kanuga’s hiking trails and Daisy’s Lake Trail, an easy walk encircling Kanuga Lake, will be open.

“It’s the perfect time of year to visit Kanuga,” says Rev. Michael Sullivan, Kanuga’s CEO, “We know that Easter traditions are special and that enjoying the outdoors can be a big part of that. Our culinary team has planned a wonderful brunch menu, and we invite everyone to bring family and friends to break bread together.”

The brunch buffet will feature pineapple glazed ham, lemon and herb chicken quarters, lentil stew, crispy bacon, baked eggs with leeks and spinach, mashed potatoes, spring root vegetables, parmesan asparagus, salad, and more, topped off with strawberry creme crepes, blueberry biscuits, lemon bars, and sugar cookies. A cash bar will be available in the dining room from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Guests may enjoy the meal in the dining room, outside tables, or the rocking chair porch. Bring a blanket to make it a picnic on the grounds!

The brunch cost, which includes the buffet and access to the grounds for the day, is $45.99 per adult (13 and over), exclusive of alcohol; $19.99 per child (3-12); and free to guests two and under.

There is no charge or need to sign up in advance for children to participate in the egg hunt, but bring a basket and meet at the Kanuga Lake Inn playground. Rain location: Kanuga Gym.
