On Saturday, 1st Avenue East transforms into a lively block party from 1–5 PM with live music by Hustle Souls, an art market hosted by Blue Ridge Artisan Markets, and food from Blunt Pretzels, Wagu Burgers, and K’s Pizza Pop Up. Guests can enjoy Hammerschloggin in the street throughout the afternoon, along with a men’s and women’s stein hoisting contest emceed by Chris Power and bib pickup for the Black Bear Half Marathon. The celebration continues at 8 PM with an afterparty in the taproom, featuring music from Trancend until 11 PM. A beer tent with special Oktoberfest brews, along with the taproom’s full drink menu, ensures plenty of options for all.
