First Pulls: Works of Butcher Shop Press

Butcher Shop Press begins its creative journey by presenting its first group exhibition, ‘First Pulls: Works of Butcher Shop Press’, on display from March 25 – April 4. Each hand-pulled print in this exhibit was created using the studio’s Takach etching press, generously donated by artist Marty Whaley Adams. The works highlight a range of approaches to printmaking and reflect the creativity of local artists exploring the unique processes of monotype and other print techniques.
As part of the exhibition, a framed monotype by artist Phil Garrett, created at Butcher Shop Press, will be offered in a silent auction to raise funds for additional studio equipment. Bidding will remain open throughout the exhibition, with the final bid announced Saturday, April 4 at 4 p.m.
