Henderson County Curb Market Ol’ Timey Day

Step back in time at the Henderson County Curb Market during Old Timey Day, a family-friendly celebration of local heritage, traditional skills, old-fashioned food, and community.
Visitors and locals are invited to come dressed in their favorite Old Timey attire and enjoy a day filled with activities inspired by the traditions and simple pleasures of days gone by.
Highlights are expected to include antique cars, traditional craft and skill demonstrations, live cider pressing, fresh ice cream made using an antique tractor engine, outdoor games, kid-friendly activities, and local food.
Families can enjoy cornhole, kid-friendly axe throwing, chalk art, and other activities, while exploring the Curb Market and shopping with local farmers, artisans, bakers, makers, and small businesses.
Food will include old-fashioned favorites such as gravy biscuits and coffee, along with apple-inspired goodies celebrating Henderson County’s agricultural heritage.
Costumes are encouraged for everyone! There will be adult and children’s costume contests, including prizes for Best Overall and Best Kid Costume. Curb Market vendors will also compete in an Old Timey Vendor Costume Contest, with customers invited to cast their votes for their favorite.
Local community organizations and traditional craftspeople will be on hand to share information, demonstrations, and skills that help preserve the heritage of our region.
