The North Carolina Writers Network-West and The Brandy Bar + Cocktails presents 17 poets and 2 artists from the 2024 issue of Kakalak Anthology as next in their series “In the Company of Writers”
The program offers a series of personal and conversational dialogues featuring guest writers/poets. These inspirational gatherings will elucidate and entertain those attending. The Chicago blues music of “Hollywood Johnny Cosgrove” and Charlie Wilkerson welcomes you, continues during intermission, and closes the evening.
The writers are residents of Asheville, Lake Norman, Brevard, Columbus, as well as Hendersonville, NC. They will read their poems and display the artwork published in the journal last year.
