Enjoy Home Goods and Design is excited to announce the Grand Opening of its first store in Hendersonville, N.C., in Horse Shoe Gap Village, 3624 Brevard Road. The Grand Opening event is set to start at 10 a.m. on June 7.

Owned and operated by WNC native Kristen Smith, Enjoy Home Goods and Design offers creative, affordable, sustainable one-of-a-kind home goods, plants, furniture and fashion items in a warm and inviting environment. Enjoy also carries curated works by local artists and offers design services for the home, office or vacation rental.

Inside Enjoy Home Goods
Many of the shop’s items are pieces that Smith herself has beautifully refurbished, and include antique and vintage furniture, stylish fashion items she makes from upcycled fabric samples (keeping discarded samples out of landfills), and plants she’s propagated and grown in her collection of vintage and eclectic containers. Local bee’s wax cloth, handknit organic cotton washcloths, beautiful dishware, unique upcycled gift boxes, vintage vases, plant accessories, and pottery are also among the shop’s offerings.

“Enjoy is filled with personally selected items that I myself love, and I enjoy assisting customers with gift ideas and their design needs,” Smith says. “It’s important to me to provide quality, upcycled, refurbished and sustainable products.”

Design Services
Enjoy’s design services include reframing living and work spaces utilizing existing furniture and art. “Sometimes it takes a fresh set of eyes to reimagine a space that has been lived in for years,” Smith said. She offers consultations and project work.

About Enjoy’s Grand Opening
Smith plans to host a giveaway of one of Enjoy’s beautiful plants during the Grand Opening. Additionally, a portion of Enjoy’s sales from the Grand Opening will go to local non-profit organizations who serve the Henderson County community.
