Odell and Gladys Barnwell opened their first apple shed in 1959. It was a small wooden structure that now stands behind the current packing house, and is still in use today. The Barnwell’s make fresh pressed apple cider, pasteurized apple cider, and apple cider vinegar. Throughout the years, Gladys and Odell continued to expand their orchards. They began with a small, 15 acre apple orchard, and now their ancestors manage more than 100 acres, which includes apples, 10 acres of peach orchards, and a large variety of veggies grown each year.
