Strive Not to Drive is an annual week of events across Western North Carolina meant to encourage you to use multimodal transportation like walking, biking, or taking public transit. The purpose of the week is to strive for a Western North Carolina where we can all live, work, and play in communities with less traffic congestion, better air quality, and safer streets for all.

Pick up a booklet from the Henderson County Welcome Center at 201 S Main St to participate. The booklet lists all participating businesses that will stamp it and may offer a discount if you bike, walk, or ride transit to reach them. Return your stamped booklet by May 22 to 201 S Main St to enter the raffle for Downtown Dollars that can be spent at participating businesses in the heart of Hendersonville!
