The Henderson County Curb Market extends an invitation to its annual Christmas Open House from 8-2 on Saturday, November 30th. The Curb Market, located at 221N. Church Street in downtown Hendersonville, will offer holiday shopping and complimentary cookies, hot cider and hot chocolate. Visitors will enjoy selecting the perfect handcrafted gifts, local seasonal produce, fresh baked goods, greenery, holiday decorations, preserves and relishes. Shoppers will not want to miss the opportunity to chat with vendors and to see their unique crafts. With each purchase, a raffle ticket will be given for a chance to win a basket filled with Market goods donated by vendors. There will be a cake walk at 11:00 for a fresh baked Market cake, and a 50-50 raffle, with the winner to be announced at 1:00. Children will enjoy making a craft at the children’s activity table, listening to holiday stories at story times, and searching for one of Peppermint Bear’s lost cubs, part of the community scavenger hunt. The young and young at heart can also look forward to a visit from Santa and his elves who will provide treats. Spending leisurely holiday time at the Market, which celebrated its 100th anniversary this year, is sure to be a delightful experience for all.
