Pianist Sophia Liu performs Liszt’s brilliant Piano Concerto No. 1, a dazzling showcase of virtuosity and orchestral interplay. BMC faculty composer David Dzubay’s evocative Ridgeline opens the concert, while Brahms’s Variations on a Theme by Haydn and Bartók’s spirited Dance Suite complete the evening with elegance and energy.
