The Many Lives of Carl Sandburg

Join us on Saturday, October 4, at 11am or 2pm where the Carl Sandburg National Historic Site will host “The Many Lives of Carl Sandburg” a play. Six actors give Sandburg’s life story through dramatic and humorous readings from his poetry and prose and songs from his American Songbag. It all comes together in an informative, entertaining, and thought-provoking production, which runs for seventy minutes. The play has received great reviews, and we are looking forward to this special event offered in the home garage next to the main house. Play attendance is free – but donations are greatly appreciated. See you there!
There are other performances in Henderson County including October 29, 3pm at the Henderson Public Library; January 11 at 2pm at Kanuga Conferences; and March 15 at 2:30pm and 5pm, at St. John in the Wilderness.
