The Tour d’Apple is Western North Carolina’s premier charity cycling tour, held each Labor Day in Hendersonville/Flat Rock. Organized by the Hendersonville Four Seasons Rotary Club, it offers four scenic route options through apple orchards, waterfalls, and mountains—ranging from a challenging 100-mile century to a beginner-friendly 25-mile ride.

Routes & Difficulty

  • Honeycrisp Century – 100 mi, ~8,000 ft ascent (serious cyclists)

  • Gala Metric – 62 mi, ~5,000 ft ascent

  • Jonagold Jaunt – 45 mi, ~2,300 ft ascent

  • Green Apple Enthusiast – 25 mi, ~1,000 ft ascent
