As part of Hendersonville Theatre’s PAGE TO STAGE program offering new work readings, we are proud to offer this important part of our local history. Oakdale Cemetery reflects the city’s early commitment to maintaining a public burial ground serving both black and white residents. The project is In collaboration with, and written by, members of The Hendersonville Historic Preservation Commission. After the reading, there will be a guided discussion inviting audience input.
