WNC Songwriter Sessions return with Rob Simone, Chris Smith and Todd Hoke. An evening of original songs in the natural acoustics and listening room atmosphere of the beautiful and historic Brandy Bar.

Hidyho Neighbors! Another trio of wonder-filled songwriters will be sharing their lyrical and musical offerings for our March session at the coolest bar in all Hendo. Rob Simone, Chris Smith, and Todd Hoke will knock the ides right out of your March. Delicious cocktails + handcrafted songs + friendly folks = time well spent. Join us!

Rob Simone has been working on his craft for almost 20 years. After spending most of his life in New York, Rob came to WNC several years ago after falling in love with the area during a previous visit. Local listeners (and players) may recognize Rob from the many local open mics and gigs he attends. Rob’s songs run the gamut from love songs to humorous, personal, political, and philosophical songs.

Chris Smith’s vocals are vulnerable, sweet and melancholic in their delivery of lyrics steeped in country and folk traditional topics of love, loss and life experiences. There is nothing groundbreaking in that, just the comfort of knowing this troubadouresque type of performer continues to work in the background while trends fade in and out.

Todd Hoke will also be part of this thing and all of his songs will be rendered in black and white because Todd doesn’t have sepiatone money.
