Remote While Close To Town

The town of Laurel Park, located just outside of downtown Hendersonville, began as a summer retreat destination, with a trolley that connected Hendersonville’s train depot and Laurel Park’s resort and lakes. Over the years, Laurel Park transitioned into more of a neighborhood community, and these days is home to the famous scenic overlook, Jump Off Rock, the peaceful Rhododendron Lake, and a growing number of restaurants and coffee shops. Additionally, the new rail-trail that will connect Hendersonville and Brevard, called the Ecusta Trail, runs right through the heart of Laurel Park.
