Pumpkin Fest

Pumpkin Fest

Pumpkin Fest is a fun, family friendly and fantastic artistic event or great date night with 18 beautiful artist-designed lighted carved pumpkin displays on a newly-paved short walking trail. The event includes talented local musicians, food trucks and coffee house, games, storytelling, face painting, white squirrel scavenger hunt, games, dress ups, and the Silvermont historic mansion and second floor museum open for tours.

There will be lots of activities for young and old alike! For kids, we have the dress up and face painting areas near the tennis court play area, the White Squirrel search, coloring and chalk drawing. For adults, we have music groups every night, food trucks, with the historic mansion first floor open with exhibits, and second floor museum free group tours.

Pumpkin Fest is a fundraiser for Friends of Silvermont to help maintain and improve the Silvermont Park and the 106-year-old historic mansion, which houses the county senior center and a history museum.

Tekoa Trails ‘n Treats

Camp Tekoa’s 10th annual Trails ‘n Treats offers Halloween family fun! Trick or Treat through the decorated cabins, enjoys spooky snacks, and walk through a family friendly haunted house. You may run into Rapunzel and the Snuggly Duckling, Tiana’s Bayou, or Indiana Jones! Come in your best Halloween costume, and join us for our favorite fall event. This is a free event, but donations are welcome. All donations go to support scholarships and program development for Tekoa’s Afterschool program. There are two time slots available to register, so we can accommodate parking. Please register online.

Lennox Station will host its first-ever Halloween Ghoulfest on Saturday, October 25, from 11 AM to 6 PM. The event will feature more than 30 local artisans, makers, and small businesses, with each booth included in a Vendor Trail where shoppers can collect Halloween prizes along the way. Guests are encouraged to come in costume for a chance to win prizes in the costume contest, enjoy discounted bike rentals, sip local brews, and explore a day full of spooky fun. From 12–3 PM, the Ryan Fletcher Uno Show will perform favorite Halloween tunes to set the festive mood. Halloween Ghoulfest is presented by BRAM, Venture Ecusta, Trailside Brewing Co., and Ecusta Market & Café.
