The Henderson County Tourism Development Authority’s role is to market Henderson County as a destination — but we could not do what we do without the hard work of our Tourism Partners. Throughout the year, we hold a number of events and trainings that are geared for our partners, and this is where you will learn more about them. In-Person Partner Events
Partner FAM Tours
Four Familiarization or FAM tours are offered to tourism-related business management and frontline staff in order to increase awareness of the many things Henderson County has to offer. This is a great way to explore your hometown and in turn share what you’ve learned with your guests. Happier, more informed visitors are more likely to stay longer and make return visits. All tours begin and end at the Henderson County Welcome Center, located at 201 South Main Street. Transportation, lunch, snacks, and drinks are all included, and the entire day is free of charge! Reservations are required as space is limited on the bus.
All four tours have unique itineraries that change from year to year, so you are encouraged to participate in as many as you are able. Tours typically go from 8:30 am – 5:00 pm (unless otherwise stated).
