And we’ve got something brand new for you this year…We’re excited to share that 828 Glide on Ice is officially set up INSIDE the Apple Shed, transforming the entire space into a magical indoor skating experience! All Fun Bouncing Inflatables will be set up OUTDOORS with all the fun inflatables for the kids to bounce, slide, and play!
Did you hear that the BAKERY IS OPEN?! All your orchard favorites are ready for you: Hot Apple Cider Donuts, Fresh Apple Fritters, Hot Apple Pies, Warm Apple Cider to sip while you skate.

Celebrate New Year’s Eve at the Historic Courthouse, the official Apple Rise ceremony, starting at 5pm leading up to the raising of the apple at 7pm. Noisemakers, glow sticks and hot beverages will be given out while supplies last, plus a DJ will play the top hits of 2025.

Winter Lights is a spectacular open-air walk-through light show made from over one million lights! The Omni Grove Park Inn invites guests to experience the 33rd Annual National Gingerbread House Competition, showcasing over 45 extraordinary edible creations from bakers of all ages. Entries will be displayed throughout the resort from November 18, 2025, to January 4, 2026. The competition, held on November 17, offers more than $40,000 in cash and prizes. Announcing First Annual Village Nights
The sisters of Johnson Family Farm invite you to their first annual Village Nights, Saturday, December 2 and Saturday, December 9 from 5pm-9pm. The holiday festivities will highlight the store located at 1202 Kanuga Road in Hendersonville.
Fresh Fraser Fir trees, wreaths, garland and a bow and ribbon bar will be featured along with tasty treats, hot cocoa and reindeer games for the kids.
The destination will also be a fun stop to take in while visiting various decorated homes and businesses such as Johnson Family Farm in this year’s Henderson County Holiday Light Trail.
“We’re going to decorate this place up to get everyone in the holiday spirit,” said Heather Johnson Price, one of the sisters and owners. “We want to put this event on to connect with the community and have an ole timey Christmas, go back to the basics.”
Get creative at the ribbon bar as you can buy various colored ribbon by the yard and make your own bow. Local artisan crafts and gift baskets are available for purchase. Fresh local vegetables are still available.

The performances will be held in the Wilderness Room of the Parish House, across Rutledge Drive from the church building at 1895 Greenville Highway in Flat Rock. This is the 20th year Dr. Haire has performed the story from Los Angeles to Edinburgh, Scotland with many stops in between.

Bullington Gardens, a public garden and horticultural education center, holds its 17th annual Holiday Craft and Greenery Sale both online and in-person.
On December 3 and 4, shop in-person at the Bullington Gardens Holiday Sale. Greenery, locally-grown holiday plants including cyclamen, amaryllis and poinsettia, as well as limited ornaments and crafts will be sold. Wreaths and swags enhanced with botanicals gathered on the Bullington Garden grounds and created by volunteers are ready for your home.
The online store will also be open November 15 – December 17, with nature-themed, handcrafted items including ornaments, textiles, quilts, botanical beauty products and holiday décor. The evergreen holiday gnome, standing 36 inches tall, adds a whimsical touch to your front porch. Online orders for holiday greenery will be accepted through Tuesday, November 23. The Holiday Greenery Sale features premium, freshly-cut Fraser fir trees ranging in height from five to eight feet. These native trees come from the Western North Carolina mountains and are wrapped for protection during transport.
