Hurricane Helene Update

Per Henderson County Officials: Henderson County is a great place to live, work and visit. But right now, Henderson County is dealing with one of the worst disasters in the County’s history, and at the moment we cannot manage leisure travelers. However, if you want to come to our County, please do come to help and bring supplies. We need non-perishable food, bottled water, baby items, and toiletries. For a complete list, please go to https://visithendersonvillenc.org/helene-relief

We look forward to welcoming visitors back to this great Henderson County again soon. As we like to say, here in Henderson County, we have “Gratitude at Altitude,” and in this moment, we are indeed grateful for whatever help you can provide.

For shipping or delivering supplies, the mailing address/location is:

118 McAbee Court
Flat Rock, NC 28731

Directions: From Upward Road exit off of I-26, go toward the QT, turn left onto Mc Murray Road and then left into the industrial complex. The warehouse is the last warehouse to the right. Truck entrance is behind the building, facing the interstate.

Relax and Unwind in the Blue Ridge Mountains

Escape life’s hectic pace with a getaway to Hendersonville in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Visitors love the beauty and southern hospitality of this vibrant town (and surrounding area) that welcomes all with possibilities as wide as its Main Street sidewalks.

Hendersonville stands out with a pedestrian-friendly downtown, distinctive hiking trails, outdoor adventure, family activities, a thriving culinary scene, and a collection of wineries, breweries, and cideries that comprise the popular Cheers! Trail.

The arts are celebrated at studios and galleries on three Blue Ridge Crafts Trails and with Broadway-style shows at the renowned Flat Rock Playhouse. Agritourism plays a key role, especially from early August through the middle of October when dozens of apple orchards invite visitors to pick apples, sample fresh cider and baked goods, and enjoy activities like wagon rides, corn mazes, pumpkin patches and apple cannons. Fall is a popular time to visit Hendersonville, but in this “City of 4 Seasons,” you are sure to find activities to fill your day in winter and even on rainy days.
